USA, MN: Hoops Brewing to close its doors on February 23

After over a decade in business, Hoops Brewing announced it will be closing its doors. The Canal Park Duluth brewer’s last pour will be February 23, WDIO reported on January 22.

In a video posted to Facebook, owner Dave Hoops said, “This place has been bigger than beer. It’s been community, neighbors, friendship, and it’s been home.”

Dave thanked his wife, Laura, and general manager, Jen, for making Hoops Brewing into what it is today.

“I have deep gratitude to our patrons and everyone who came and hung out,” Dave said. “So I want to invite you to please enjoy the next month of Hoops.”

The announcement did not say why it is closing.
