Brazil: Shares in Brazilian beverage giant AmBev (ABV) rose 1.1% to $28.65 on January 4, 2005 in tandem with its parent company, Belgian brewer InBev SA (INB.BT), which boosted its stake in Russian subsidiary Sun Interbrew Ltd. (SUG.XE), ending a tussle for full control of Russia's second-largest brewer, according to Dow Jones.
