Scottish & Newcastle (S&N), the UK-based brewer, and Boutaris, the Greek wine and beer company, have concluded an agreement under which S&N will purchase a 51% share in a subsidiary of Boutaris, Northern Greece Brewer.

Another buyout agreement was planned to be signed by the two companies in mid-July, under which S&N would buy a 46% share in an other subsidiary of Boutaris, Mythos Brewery.
