The Bulgarian brewer, Shumensko Pivo, in which Carlsberg bought a 59.4% share in July, has reported a net profit of 586,120 BL (301,500 EUR) for 2001. In compliance with the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shumensko, 20% of the profit would be paid as a dividend and 80% would be allotted to the company's investment program.
