Thailand's beer industry is still enjoying healthy growth rates. Thai brewers output 16 million hl in 2003 versus 12.5 million hl in 2002. That is a very encouraging figure, analysts said. Further investments are planned to respond to the consumers demand. The market leader is still holding on to some 70 % market share. It may not come with surprise that San Miguel from the Philippines have decided to invest in the Thai beer market, analysts revealed.
