Saint Petersburg based Baltica brewery has made a statement on its results for 2001, that proved to be excellent, as the main financial indicators knew a significant growth .

Thus, the sales, rose to 15,7 milliard rubles, which represents a growth of 61% in comparison with 2000. Operating profit increased by 70%, its value, for 2001, being of 5,3 milliard rubles.

As a result of these increases and the efficient management, the net profit, also registered a substantial growth of 1,7 milliard rubles (+76%) reaching the amount of 4 milliard rubles in 2001.
