The Belgian Giant Interbrew intends to acquire a 20 % stake in the Chinese brewer Zhujiang. Actually, Interbrew is at the stage of negotiations with the Chinese brewery that has a market share of about 4% .

Zhujiang brewery is mainly controlled by the Chinese government and only recently has begun to consider the opening of a public share offer.
