EU: Malting barley markets calm

The EU’s malting barley markets remain rather calm, La Depeche posted on May, 14.

The farmers are waiting for rain, but occasional local showers in some areas of France and the UK do not dismiss concerns of too dry sowing conditions.

The market is, consequently, in a wait-and-see mood and is closely watching NYSE Liffe’s Malting Barley Futures and Options, it is reported.
