Virtually whole exports of grains from Ukraine in July 2003 were represented by barley, the sales of which made 53,700 tonnes, being 45 % less than the month before, AgriMarket.Inf reported on September 15. Nearly all the barley was exported to Middle Eastern countries: 42,800 tonnes went to Saudi Arabia and 10,500 tonnes - to the United Arabian Emirates.

Barley import to Ukraine in July totalled 6,900 tonnes, which is 5.3 times more than in June. Basic imports in July came from Denmark - 5,700 tonnes.
