San Miguel Corp. (SMC), the Philippines-based food and drinks conglomerate, , has announced that Naomichi Asano has resigned as a board director. Asano was one of two directors representing the Japanese brewer, Kirin, which owns 15% of San Miguel. The company also announced that Hitoshi Oshima is to take Asano's place on the board.
