India’s brewing conglomerate, United Breweries, has announced a consolidated net loss of Rup90.5m for the full 2002-2003 fiscal year against Rup247.6m in the previous fiscal year. Consolidated gross sales registered a by 69% grouth, from Rup3.24 billion to Rup5.49 billion. On a standalone basis, United Breweries posted a profit of Rup14.4m against a loss last year of Rup93.9m last year, while gross sales rose by 86.16% to Rup5.15 billion.
