The Colombia’s brewing force Bavaria announced on June 25 that it has increased its stake in the Peru’s single brewer, Backus, by acquiring an extra 1.17% of voting shares. Bavaria invested about US$23 million in the deal. The purchase increases its stake In Backus up to 60%.
