Ukrainian brewers produced about 616.39 million litres of beer in January-May this year, 15.9% more than in the same period last year. In May beer production in Ukraine reached the volume of 191.8 million litres, 25.9% more than in May 2002. The first four main beer producers of Ukraine are: Sun Interbrew Ukraine, ZAO Oboloni, BBH and Donetsk group.

In 2002 Ukrainian brewers increased beer production by 15.5% in comparison with 2001 up to 1464.43 million litres.
