Russia: Malting barley to be grown in Celyabinsk region

Celyabinsk region could become a supplier of malting barley for beer industry, according to Russian Beer Union, February 5.

According to Agriculture Ministry, the region participates in a campaign for enlarging the malting barley sowings in Russian Federation. Specialists are doing researches to choose a right barley variety for a region rather risky for agriculture.
