Interbrew (Belgium) is considering legal action against the Slovenian competition authorities if Pivovarna Lasko, Slovenia’s largest brewer is allowed to take over Pivovarna Union. Interbrew controls 41% of Union while Lasko controls 48%. The two have been battling for control of the brewer for about a year.
