USA, CA: Barebottle Brewing Company opening its first East Bay location this fall
Barebottle Brewing Company is opening its first East Bay location this fall. Barebottle is looking to open in October at 1375 South California Blvd., the brewery announced in a social media post on September 8.
There is no set date for the grand opening, but Barebottle said it is targeting “beginning of October.”
This Barebottle will be approximately 5,000 square feet and accompanied by outdoor seating, according to the post. The brewery takes over the space that was previously occupied by a grocery store, Barebottle said.
There is also a parking lot right in front of the brewery, which the brewery says is “a Barebottle first!”
There are currently five Barebottle locations across four Bay Area cities: San Francisco, Santa Clara and Menlo Park. The Barebottle brand was co-founded in 2007 by Lester Koga, Michael Seitz, and Ben Sterling, who were classmates at Cornell Business School in Ithaca, New York.
The first location opened in San Francisco in 2016. Barebottle now has a fanbase of more than 35,000 followers across its Facebook and Instagram pages.
Also opening in Walnut Creek this fall is Calicraft Brewing Co. That is expected to open in October with a concept focused on cocktails at a rooftop bar on 1511 Mt. Diablo Blvd.
