USA, TN: Iron Forge Brewing Company to open a new location in Knoxville
From the heart of Sevierville to the heart of the Old City, a brewing company is expanding to add a new location at Covenant Health Park, WATE reported on June 10.
The Iron Forge Brewing Company has announced that it will be opening Iron Forge at the Park at the entrance of Covenant Health Park by the 2025 holiday season.
The brewery shared that the new 4,000 square foot location will have a full-service restaurant and bar, as well as its custom Knoxville Smokies Light lager, which will be available at all stadium concession stands and the craft beer corner. Located on Jackson Avenue, the location will also have indoor seating and a spacious outdoor patio with space for up to 150 guests.
“We’re coming from the Smokies to the Smokies,” Iron Forge co-founder Audrei Dabul said. “Families visit our Sevierville location from all over the U.S. because of the atmosphere; we want to bring that same feeling to our Knoxville taproom.”
The new Iron Forge at the Park will be open year-round, seven days a week, including on non-game days and outside of baseball and soccer seasons.
This announcement comes a month after Covenant Health Park shared that two new food options would soon be available at the new stadium: T. Ralph’s Burgers and Fries, and Disco Chicken and Donuts. T. Ralph’s has a location open at Kern’s Food Hall, and Disco Chicken is expected to open Kern’s Food Hall soon.
In October, the Knoxville-based Xul Beer Company’s Kill the Lights Beer Fest will also be held at Covenant Health Park. Previously, the festival took place at the Xul Beer Company taproom, located along E. 5th Avenue, and featured more than 70 breweries.
Covenant Health Park opened in April and is the home field for both the Knoxville Smokies and One Knoxville SC.
