Chile: Compania Cervecerias Unidas reports Q2 profit of $9.3 mln

Compania Cervecerias Unidas (CCU) on September 6 reported second-quarter profit of $9.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Santiago, Chile-based company said it had net income of 5 cents.

The company posted revenue of $454.8 million in the period.

Cervecerias Unidas shares have risen roughly 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on September 6, shares hit $21.84, a climb of slightly more than 1 percent in the last 12 months.
