Canada, BC & USA, OR: Vancouver’s Mt Tabor Brewing to open production in Portland

Mt Tabor Brewing plans to open a new production facility and tasting room in Portland, while maintaining its brewpub in Vancouver, Vancouver Business Journal reported on April 28.

Owner/brewer Eric Surface said he has signed a lease to occupy a 6,000-square-foot space at 124 SE 11th Avenue in Portland. The new facility, he said, includes space for a barrel aging room and three or four 15-barrel fermenters.

"We are all really excited for the next phase and look forward to having a great time as we get things up and running at Tabor 2," the brewery said on its Facebook page. "It's a team effort and we couldn't do it without having great friends like you who join us on Thursday and Friday nights."

Mt Tabor Brewing is located at 113 W 9Th St. in Vancouver.
