Tunisia: SFBT reports 9.1% rise in turnover due to stronger beer sales

Société de fabrication de boissons de Tunisie (SFBT), Tunisia’s leading brewer, reported a 9.1% rise in turnover for 2013, to TND832.8 mln, versus TND763.105 mln in 2012, Business News said on April 17.

The increase was possible due to a 36.2% growth in beer sales, to TND93 mln.

The company said sales of its new canned beer enjoyed a particularly strong demand over the reporting period.
