E-Malt.com News article: Canada: Russell Lemon Ale on tap for this season
Brewery news

The Russell Brewing Company announced June 02 the release of this season’s Russell Lemon Ale at fine restaurants and pubs in Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria and the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.

Russell Lemon Ale is made with premium Canadian wheat and two-row malted barley plus a special organic lemon essence from California. Unlike typical wheat beers, this wheat beer is cold filtered resulting in a crystal clean appearance. The subtle lemon essence provides a great balance with light malt flavour of the wheat. Russell Lemon Ale is anticipated by loyal fans each season and it is available from April to September.

“We introduced the Russell Lemon Ale in the Vancouver market about six years ago and each summer it gets more and more popular” said Andrew Harris, President & COO. “We now have distribution in Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria and the Sunshine Coast and we’ve quadrupled our production for the increased demand.”

Russell Brewing Company produces premium draught beer for fine pubs and eateries located in British Columbia, Canada. Using all natural ingredients and traditional beer-making techniques, Russell beer is brewed for people who love beer. Products include: Russell Cream Ale, Russell Pale Ale, Russell Honey Blonde Ale, Russell Extra Special Lager plus the two seasonal brews, Russell Lemon Ale and Russell Winter Porter. Russell Brewing Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Russell Breweries Inc.
