E-Malt.com News article: USA: Odell Brewing announces a single batch release of Imperial Stout
Brewery news

Odell Brewing of Fort Collins, Colorado will release a single batch brew of Imperial Stout, originally developed on its five barrel system, according to the company’s statement of February 16, 2006.

Odell’s artisan brewers went to work on their five barrel system to craft an Imperial Stout. True to tradition, Imperial Stout was crafted with premium malts imported from England. After years of refining the recipe, Imperial Stout is fit for a king.

Imperial Stout’s single batch release is pre-allocated and limited to accounts in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. Each six-pack will retail for approximately $9.99 - $10.99.

Odell brewer and production manager Brendan McGivney said, “We’ve brewed some outstanding stouts on the five barrel system for the brewery tasting room. I’m excited to share our latest rendition of the Imperial Stout outside of the walls of the Odell brewery.”

Odell brewers have selected another artisan beer planned for a June release.

Odell Brewing is the winner of a Gold medal for Easy Street Wheat in the American-style Hefeweizen category and a Silver medal for 5 Barrel Pale Ale in the Classic English-style Pale Ale category at the 2005 Great American Beer Festival. Cutthroat Porter took home the Gold medal in the Porter/Stout category at this year’s Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival.

Founded in 1989, Odell Brewing Company is a family owned brewery specializing in English style ales.
