Brewery news

Generous beer drinkers in Cumbria have helped to boost one of Britain's rarest birds by downing a specially-brewed fundraising ale.

Cumbrian brewers, Jennings of Cockermouth, have donated £1,000 to the Lake District Osprey Project after brewing a new beer to help support the scheme which supports the re-colonisation of ospreys at Bassenthwaite, helping to boost one of Britain's rarest birds.

Jennings launched the new ale, Fish King, to celebrate the local ospreys and it has proved a successful and award-winning brew.
