Greene King announced on November 28 that Ian Bull (44) has been appointed Group Finance Director. Ian, who is currently Chief Executive, Enterprises at BT Retail, will be taking up his new post on 9th January 2006 and will also be joining the board. Greene King announced in April that Michael Shallow had decided he wished to seek new challenges outside the Company and now that a successor has been found, Michael has resigned with effect from the end of December.

Ian has been Chief Executive, Enterprises at BT Retail since February 2004 where he has delivered a strong track record of profitable growth, both organically and through successful acquisitions. Between 2000 and 2004, he was CFO of BT Retail. Before joining BT Group, Ian held senior financial positions at Disney and TGI Friday's Restaurants, part of Whitbread plc. He is highly qualified, holding both a FCMA and MBA.
