Brewery news

Carlsberg A/S announced on November 24 that Pivara Celarevo has changed its name to Carlsberg Serbia. The decision to change the name has been made to reflect the company's growing integration into the Carlsberg Group. It also reflects the high quality standards and excellent business results that the company has achieved after it was privatised in 2003.

Carlsberg Serbia is located in Vojvodina in the northern part of Serbia and has in 2005 grown to the number two brewery in the Serbian market based on ex-factory sales volumes. The brewery produces Tuborg Green and the strong local brand Lav, which is also the official beer of the Serbia-Montenegro national football team.
