Brewery news

In the Cowaramup area the construction of another new brewery has started and it is expected to be open by this time next year. Known as the Cowaramup Brewing Company it is family owned and will be operated in North Treeton Road.

The brewery would produce quality hand crafted premium ales and lagers in a family friendly environment. The brewery was approved by the shire about the same time as the Colonial Brewery in Osmington Road. Another brewery is expected to be built in a conjunction with a winery on Caves Road in the Busselton shire.

It will be built using materials sourced from the local area including rammed earth The site will comprise a microbrewery that will feature a state of the art brewing system, which can be viewed by the public through bi-fold windows, bar and tasting area, café, landscaped licensed lawn area and children’s play area . By August 2006 all this should be ready for opening.
