USA: Barley export sales for the grain year 2004/05 stand at 275,000 tonnes, of which 222,000 tonnes to Japan, balance malting barley: 30,000 tonnes to South Africa, 17,000 tonnes to Canada and 6,000 tonnes to the EU.
