Brewery news

Fayetteville Flyer reported on April 18 that Fayetteville’s Apple Blossom Brewing Company will be closing on Saturday, April 22, and North Little Rock’s Flyway Brewing is said to be taking over the space at 1550 E. Zion Road.

Apple Blossom’s Facebook post said that it will have a new project located right next door.

Matt Foster opened Flyway Brewing in North Little Rock’s Argenta neighborhood at 314 Maple St. in 2015. Over the past eight years it’s developed a solid reputation for its many beer varieties — its Bluewing Berry Wheat is wildly popular — and its lively tap room located a few blocks north of Dickey-Stephens Park.

Rumors of Flyway expanding into Fayetteville have been floating for a while. Additionally, Flyway was one of the businesses announced for the new Breckenridge Village redevelopment.
