A popular brewery is gearing up to open up its second location in the Tri-Cities, KEPR reported on September 11.

Sage Brewing Company in Pasco is expanding with a taphouse set to open in Kennewick's Hansen Park Plaza at the end of September.

Owner Tyson Crudup said he's excited for the expansion — the outdoor patio alone can seat over 60 people.

"It's incredible that we're able to get this done during this pandemic," Crudup said. "It's really exciting that we're able to bring this to the community."

Crudup said they've always wanted to open another location and continue making craft beer.

"From day one we wanted to bring craft beer to Tri-Cities and bring our craft beer and our hoppy-style beers and our taproom style to the area and we're getting to bring it to fruition so it's really cool," Crudup said.

Crudup said they will continue to brew their beer in Pasco, but their whole selection will be available at the location in Kennewick.

He said they'll have food trucks parked out front, but are also working on putting in a kitchen.
