Japanese Suntory Group announced on January 12 it will donate the rescue money of 200 million yen in total for the damage which has been caused by the large-scale earthquake off the coast of Sumatra and the tsunami in the Indian Ocean.

Suntory expresses its deep sympathy to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami, praying for the earliest restoration of disaster-stricken areas. It hopes that the rescue money will be used for building the support system to prevent epidemics, and for protecting the lives of children and their healthy developments. Thus, the rescue money of 200 million yen will be sent to the disaster-stricken areas through Japanese Red Cross Society and UNICEF Association of Japan.
