China: Shanghai and Hong Kong-listed beer maker Tsingtao Brewery has launched a beer production base with an annual output of 100,000 tons in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province in late August, Asia Pulse reported on August 31. This is the second facility constructed by the leading Chinese beer maker in Hunan Province, with the other one in Chenzhou. Its production capacity will finally be expanded to 200,000 tons a year.

Tsingtao Brewery has so far built 48 beer production bases in 18 provinces of the country, with total annual beer production capacity of nearly 5 billion liters, ranking first in China in terms of output, market share, sales revenue, and exports.
