Brewery news

The latest newsletter from What’s Brewing reports that BC’s latest – and probably last – new brewery opening of 2016 took place last week in the province’s Gulf Islands.

Mayne Island Brewing is a nanobrewery located on its namesake island, situated midway between the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

The brewery launched with three brands – Blonde Ale (7% abv), Brown Ale (5.3% abv) and Mayne Island Forager (6.4% abv) – that are available at the brewery in 330 ml and 750 ml bottles.

Mayne Island Brewing will be open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on December 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st. Following the holidays, regular business hours will be 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
