E-Malt.com News article: USA, NC & SC: Hi-Wire Brewing to start selling its beers in South Carolina soon
Brewery news

One of Asheville’s popular craft breweries will soon be selling its ales and lagers across South Carolina. It is the first time for those beers to be available outside of North Carolina, Greenville News reported on September 10.

Hi-Wire Brewing, which recently opened a second brewery in Asheville to increase production, has added distribution across the Palmetto State, from Charleston and Myrtle Beach to the Upstate. In Greenville, the beer will be distributed by KW Beverage and in Spartanburg by Budweiser of Spartanburg.

“South Carolina is our next door neighbour. We wouldn’t think of passing over it to go elsewhere,” said brewery spokeswoman Abby Dickinson. “Greenville has some killer spots to drink craft beer.” The brewery will begin selling in the Greenville-Spartanburg markets at the end of September. The brewery’s co-owners and sales team will make appearances at tap takeover and beer festivals, Dickinson said.

Hi-Wire Brewing’s will feature its most popular flagships into the Upstate ( Hi-Pitch IPA, Bed of Nails Brown ale, Hi-Wire Lager, Prime-Time Session Ale etc.)

Hi-Wire Brewing opened in June of 2013 in Asheville’s busy South Slope brewing district and quickly became a favourite. This summer, it opened a new production brewery at the edge of Asheville’s Biltmore Village neighbourhood and turned the original location into a specialty brewery. It has also expanded its distribution into more North Carolina.
