Pittston, PA-based Susquehanna Brewing Co. Inc. has reached agreements with three new wholesalers to bolster its distribution expansion in New Jersey. These agreements will give SBC coverage in the Northwest, Central and Southern areas of New Jersey, timesleader.com reported on June 3.

Susquehanna Brewing Co. chose the Banko Beverage network to cover 16 of the 21 counties that encompass New Jersey. Hub City Distributing Co., Lawrenceville, will cover four counties in the central part of the state. Warren Distributing Co. South, Hammonton, will cover six counties in the southern part of the state. Warren Distributing Co. North, Flanders, will round out the coverage by taking six Northwestern counties.

Susquehanna Brewing currently has coverage of 46 counties in Pennsylvania.

Susquehanna Brewing Company, Pittston, started brewing its products in April 2012. SBC was founded in 2010 by Mark Nobile and Ed and Fred Maier, formerly of United Beverage of NEPA. Ed and Fred are descendants of Charles Stegmaier, who brewed the first larger beer in Northeastern Pennsylvania in 1851. Guy Hagner joined SBC as the company’s brew master in February 2012.
