Brewery news

The east side of Toronto appears to be becoming a new focal point for the city’s craft brewing scene, with the veteran Mill Street Brewery, relocated Amsterdam Brewery, and recently announced Left Field Brewery now being joined by a fourth player, Canadian Beer News reported on April 3.

Muddy York Brewing is a new brewery currently under construction in the industrial Bermondsey neighbourhood in the former borough of East York.

Founded by award winning homebrewer Jeff Manol, Muddy York is targeting a summer opening, and will launch with three flagship brands – Unearthed Amber Ale, Muddy York Porter, and Dereliction Double IPA – that will initially be available exclusively on draught, with sales of packaged product at an on-site retail shop to follow.
