Brewery news

Great Raft Brewing located in Shreveport, LA will partner with restaurant and bar partners to expand the distribution of its three flagship beers to Northeast Louisiana, beginning 24 March 2014, according to Drinks Business Review .

The three flagship beers are Reasonably Corrupt black lager, Southern Drawl pale lager, and Commotion American pale ale.

Great Raft Brewing co-founder and president Andrew Nations said that it is important for the company to work with locally owned bars and restaurants to introduce its products.

"We not only want to work with craft-friendly establishments, but also want to partner with other small businesses in order to help celebrate the uniqueness of the local North Louisiana community," Nations added.

In addition, the brewery will also partner with Louisiana distributor, Marsala Beverage, to distribute its beers on draft and in cans to additional local bars and restaurants later in March 2014.

Founded in October 2013, Great Raft Brewing is the ninth production brewery in Louisiana.
