Brewery news

State-owned concern Belgospischeprom intends to put up for sale a 25% stake in its Krynitsa brewery, Pivnoe Delo reported on March, 7.

OOO Krynitsa is the largest beer maker in Belarus, with a total production capacity of 2.4 mln hl. In the last several years, the state allocated around USD82 mln for the modernisation of the company. The stake sale is expected to provide the necessary funds to cancel the credits raised for these investments. A complete privatization of the brewery is not planned so far, it is reported.

Belgospischeprom said it is also planning to expand the production capacity of its Belsolod maltings.
