E-Malt.com News article: Brazil: Skol beer brand value up 17% this year

Skol, Brazil’s most popular beer, is the most valuable brand of within the segment and the fifth most valuable brand in Brazil, a report by Interbrand revealed last week.

This year AmBev-owned Skol is valued at R$8.497 bln, having increased by 17% versus 2011.

Earlier this year, the US research firm Millward Brown named Skol as the fifth most valuable brand in Latin America, both in the beer and global brands categories.
