Brewery news

Longmont, Colorado-based Oskar Blues Brewery is set to enter two new markets this fall—Ohio and Kentucky, Shanken News Daily reported on October, 1.

They have partnered with Stagnaro Distributing for the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky markets and Superior Beverage Group in Columbus and Cleveland. The craft brewer will make all five of its year-round beers available in the new markets in both 4- and 6-packs.

The announcement follows Oskar Blues’ expansion into Alabama and Chicago this summer. Oskar Blues will produce about 90,000 barrels this year.

The company is also in the middle of opening a new brewery in western North Carolina, slated to begin production this December and expected to produce about 40,000 barrels next year.
