Brewery news

About 11 craft brewers from Arizona entered into a partnership to create a new beer recipe and released Up and Runnin' Arizona Summer Ale at Tempe-based Four Peaks Brewing, The Drinks Business Review reported on August, 30.

Together, OHSO Eatery and Nanobrewery, North Mountain Brewing, Fate Brewing, Four Peaks Brewing, Arizona Wilderness Brewing, Desert Eagle Brewing, Mischief Brewing, Freak'n Brewing, Mother Road Brewing, That Brewery and Dragoon Brewing produced the ale.

Up and Runnin' Arizona Summer Ale is an English-style session beer containing just 4.8% ABV. The beer will be offered for a limited period at Four Peaks, That Brewery and Trophy Steakhouse.

The brew is a session pale ale that was created using dry hops and pink peppercorns.

Arizona Craft Brewers Guild board member and Four Peaks head brewer Andy Ingram said that several breweries have opened within a year.

"I wanted to get everyone together, get a community going," he added.
