Central Virginia craft beer makers are getting together for another tasty collaboration, Nbc29.com reported on August, 20.

This time, they are tackling a ‘black Belgian-style tripel', a beer that will likely be the first of its kind in large production. The fourth Brew Ridge Trail collaboration beer went into production on August, 20.

Blue Mountain Brewery brewmaster Taylor Smack said, "I'm sure somebody's done it in the 5,000 plus history of beer, maybe, but you know it's a new take on an older style of Belgian beer."

This beer brings together brewers from Devil's Backbone, Starr Hill, Wild Wolf Brewing Company, Blue Mountain Brewery, South Street Brewery and Blue Mountain Barrel House.

The collaboration brew will debut at Top of the Hops Beer Festival on September 22.
