Slammin' Sam Beer Company is to launch a new craft-brewed premium American lager Slammin' Sam, inspired by late golf player Sam Snead, at The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia, The Drinks Business Review reported on July, 04.

Made by Stevens Point Brewery in Wisconsin, Slammin' Sam will be available in cans, bottles and kegs.The packaging and marketing of the products bears famous images of Snead from the 1950's and 1960's.

The lager will soon be launched in other resorts, golf courses, restaurants and bars throughout North America.

Slammin' Sam Beer founder and CEO Casey Bierer said Snead is an international sports icon and their first priority was to create an amazing beer that honors his legacy.

"Through the assistance of a beer industry legend and remarkable craft brewery, we're proud to present a thirst-quenching premium lager that golfers and all active lifestyle consumers will truly enjoy," Bierer added.
