E-Malt.com News article: USA, MN: Summit releases Dunkel Weizen
Brewery news

Summit Brewing Company announced Dunkel Weizen, the ninth beer produced in its limited-time-only Unchained Series, Craftbeer.com reported on February, 27.

Created by brewer Eric Blomquist, who also crafted the second Unchained beer 90/- Scottish Style Ale, Dunkel Weizen pays tribute to traditional German wheat beers and will be available in draught the week of March 5 and in bottles the week of March 19.

“Dunkel Weizen is a beer Eric has wanted to create for a long time and continues his focus on European-inspired ales,” said Mark Stutrud, founder of Summit Brewing Company. “Really good fresh examples of this style can be hard to find in the states, but Eric’s beer rises to the occasion.”
