Foster’s, one of the greatest breweries from Australia has begun unprecedented talks with its main rival Lion Nathan. Foster’s comes to Nathan with the idea to share the brewing facilities from Western Australia.

This action of Foster’s in based on the fact, that Foster’s succeeded to increase its market share in Western Australia and now it is compelled to transport beer to Western Australia from Melbourne. In order to reduce the increasing transportation costs, Foster would like now to share a Lian Natan’s brewery "Swan Brewery" which operates at half of its capacity.

Nathan confirmed that it discussed with Foster’s on this issue, but mentioned that it did not receive any definite proposal from the part of Foster’s.
