The Russian brewing force, Baltika Brewery, based in St. Petersburg, posted 3,789 mln rbl (11.9% up on year) as 9-month net profit for product shipped under Russia's Accounting Standards. The indicator stood at 3,384 mln rbl a year earlier, according to the company's documents.

The earnings widened from 17,100 mln rbl to 17,500 mln rbl, prime cost slid from 9,746 mln rbl to 8,108 mln rbl. Gross profit climbed from 7,353 mln rbl to 9,392 mln rbl, sales profit increased from 4,131 mln rbl to 5,070 mln rbl, pretax profit was up from 4,119 mln rbl to 4,728 mln rbl, tax payments totalled 735 mln rbl vs. 938 mln rbl.
