E-Malt.com News article: Australia: Foster’s appoints new CFO experienced in corporate demergers

Australia’s top brewer Foster's Group Limited announced on November, 4 the appointment of Anthony (Tony) Reeves to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), on a fixed term contract, effective from 8 November 2010.

Mr. Reeves was CFO of OneSteel Limited from 2001 to 2009 and prior to that held a number of senior executive roles with the ICI Group in the UK, USA and Australia.

His CFO experience is important as Foster’s seeks to maintain its high standard of financial governance, but also his prior experience with corporate demergers will be valuable as the Board evaluates the potential demerger of its beer and wine businesses.
