E-Malt.com News article: Latvia: Aldaris starts distributing Tuborg beer

Aldaris, Latvia’s largest brewery, has begun to distribute Tuborg beer on the domestic market, LETA communicated on April, 8.

Tuborg beer will be launched in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia simultaneously. Despite the current economic situation, EUR1.5 million has been spend to bring in the beer brand to the Baltic nations.

Tuborg will be available in 0.33 litre bottles in Latvia, the company said.

Established in 1865, Aldaris is one of the largest breweries in the region and a subsidiary of the Danish Carlsberg.

Tuborg is the third best-selling beer in Carlsberg’s global portfolio.
