Brewery news

Anheuser-Busch announced earlier this week that its low-calorie beer, Select 55, will launch nationwide February 1, Nacsonline.com posted on January, 14.

Tested since last August in 14 cities, Select 55 is the lightest beer in the world with fewer calories than any other beer option currently available. Per 12-ounce serving, the beer has 55 calories and 1.9g carbohydrates. It will be available in 12-ounce clear signature crown bottles (clear APL label) in 6- and 12-packs, and 12-ounce aluminum cans in 12- and 18-packs.

Anheuser-Busch is the US division of Leuven, Belgium-based world’s largest brewer AB InBev.
