Brewery news

The range of beers offered by Hartwall will be expanded early in April with the launch of the world’s best-known Asian beer – Tiger, the beverage group reported on March, 12.

“Local beer brands rank number one almost everywhere in the world. We believe that familiar domestic brands will hold on to their strong position in Finland, too. That said, Finnish consumers also crave new specialty and imported beers. We meet this demand not only with in-house product development, but also through well-considered launches of suitable imported beers from the extensive and diverse beer portfolio of our parent company, Heineken,” says Tuomas Kahri, Head of Marketing and Communications at Hartwall.

This new addition to Hartwall’s portfolio is the world’s best-known Asian beer. Tiger has been brewed in Singapore since 1932. The beer will be available in Finland at the beginning of April in four-packs of 0.33-litre bottles.

Previous additions to Hartwall’s range from Heineken’s beer portfolio were Heineken, Murphy's Irish Stout and the non-alcoholic Buckler.

The company said it will keep enlarging its portfolio of imported beers by introducing suitable new brews.
