Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd (APB) announced on February, 27 that Mr Larry Lee Chio Lim will assume the position of General Manager of Hatay Brewery Limited (HBL), its wholly-owned subsidiary in north Vietnam from 1 March 2009.

As the General Manager of HBL, Mr Lee will be responsible for the overall management of strategic and operational matters such as sales and commercial activities of the company’s brands, technical and business development.

Mr Lee first joined APB from 1989 to 1994 when he played an integral role in marketing the Group’s beer brands in Singapore, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam and Thailand. Following an eight-year stint with Heineken Browerijen B.V., Mr Lee rejoined APB’s China operation in 2002. Mr Lee spent the last five years in Vietnam Brewery Limited (VBL) as Commercial Manager and then as Business Head – Central Region.
